Tesla Roadster
Tesla is the world’s only automaker selling highway-capable electric vehicles.
The Roadster accelerates faster than nearly any car in its price class and is twice as energy efficient as leading hybrids.

Baldos II
Sweden's Lulea University of Technology's Baldos II, a series hybrid vehicle. An efficient ethanol fueled engine drives a generator, charging an ultra capacitor which act as an energy buffer for a brushless electrical motor.
The electrical motor is connected directly to the wheel axis. Baldos II chassis is built as a monocoque in carbon fibre composite.

Riversimple
Riversimple is a revolutionary transport company, based in the UK, aiming to produce highly energy-efficient vehicles for personal transport.
Riversimple's first project, a two seat local car, is powered by hydrogen fuel cells with a novel design and made from advanced composites; the design emphasis is on efficiency and it achieves energy consumption equivalent to 300 miles per gallon on petrol.

Elettrica - Electric Car
The Elettrica combines Italian style and design with Japanese engineering and British electronics. It was first launched in the UK in September 2007 after proving it had a range of at least 50 miles by travelling from London to Brighton without a single recharge.

Vectrix - Electric Scooter
The VX-1 is a powerful, all-electric, all-highway-capable Personal Electric Vehicle that goes 100 km/h, has a range of 50-80 km, and does it all for about a cent per km.
