Nobel Sustainability Trust

The Nobel Sustainability Trust is working towards a world in which alternative, renewable and sustainable energy sources will be freely accessible to all members of society. A world in which solutions have been successfully implemented that meet present and future needs whilst avoiding environmental threats. The Nobel name is associated generally with the Nobel Prizes but family inventions and social understanding have served Kings and countries since the 19th century Bra Nobel Oil Company laid the foundation of today's Nobel legacy; inventing the oil tanker, the oil rig, the first pipelines in Russia and pioneered providing employees with profit sharing, schools, hospitals, banks, housing, reasonable working hours and fair salaries.

The Trust, whose founders are the descendants of Immanuel Nobel, father of Ludvig, Robert and Alfred Nobel, was set up to encourage the research, development and commercialisation of products and procedures within the field of sustainability, with a strong focus on renewable and sustainable energy. The Trust's involvement with CleanEquity Monaco is a first step in this initiative.
